The Medtech Science Day is organized by „MedTechLab“, a new virtual platform, driven by the WTZ-West together with the Medical University of Innsbruck (MUI), the Management Center Innsbruck (MCI) and supported by Standortagentur Tirol, Cluster Life Sciences Tirol. Its aim is to gather information, foster innovation, offer training, and enable networking and cooperation in the field of medical engineering.

MedTechLab
Over the upcoming months, the MedTechLab will organize a number of workshops and lectures with focus on Medical Technology. Moreover, 2–3 “Innovation Trips” will take place: excursions to interesting and innovative MedTech companies.
One inherent part of the MedTechLab is the organization of the MedTech Science Days at the MUI, MCI and UMIT. The institutions will present their main research topics and facilities. The event brings together scientists with research focus on MedTech and interested representatives of the industry.
