As part of a regional programme in Tyrol, three Austrian companies are searching for innovative solutions in collaboration with startups from Europe and beyond. The medium sized companies are manufactures of traditional industrial products and global market leaders in their niche.

Solution for the measurement of material conditions sought
Austrian companies search for a technical solution to measure material conditions of industrial products in extreme environmental conditions. Potential partners should offer a solution to measure the condition of hard-to-reach or closed components and tools in extreme environmental conditions and transmit this information wireless to a receiver (control unit). The challenge is to measure physical data (temperature, pressure, etc.) of the product material (metal, iron, steal) both during production and operation. Find the full description here.

Condition based maintenance and fog computing technologies sought
Austrian companies search for solutions to capture and extract relevant information to monitor the actual condition of an asset. Potential partners should offer a solution to extract relevant information from big data sets in order to analyse the data for condition based maintenance applications. In particular, they are interested in implementing artificial intelligence solutions to predict customer specification recommendations for tools or process efficiency based on both real time and recorded data. Augmented and mixed reality solutions for industrial maintenance and work instructions sought
Austrian companies search for a technical solution for real time monitoring of production processes and immediate error recognition using augmented and/or mixed reality technologies for remote maintenance and work instructions. With the proposed solution workers should be able to receive remote work instructions or process guidance using augmented and/or mixed reality technologies. Additive manufacturing methods for metals, ceramics and diamonds sought
Austrian companies search for solutions in additive manufacturing (AM). Potential partners can offer AM methods to manufacture products based on a metal-ceramic mix with the possibility to add diamond elements to the final product. Another application of an additive manufacturing method is sought in the field of functional design. According to the approach function follows form, the shape of the end product is developed automatically by entering product parameters and printed as a finished product.
