What is LOCANDY?
LOCANDY is a new community portal for interactive, GPS-based outdoor games using smartphones. It offers a completely new type of nature experience with an individualized, interactive game experience outdoors.
The product core
The basis is formed by the community portal, where those interested can create individual GPS games using the easy-to-use, intuitive games editor. Both individuals and organizations can act as game authors.
The game console
Playing the game in nature simply requires a standard smartphone (iPhone or Android). A one-time app download is necessary, which requires online reception. The game itself functions offline. Information or the interactions at the game stations in nature are released via GPS detection.
