Dieser Brückenschlag ist wichtig, weil so die
unternehmerischen und institutionellen Inno-
vationstätigkeiten in den beteiligten Regionen
unterstützt werden. Die internationale Vernet-
zung wird forciert, wirtschaftliche Beziehungen
und Kooperationen ausgebaut, Kompetenzdefi-
zite ausgeglichen. Eine große Bedeutung kommt
dabei dem Einsatz von Schlüsseltechnologien zu.
Die Vernetzung von Unternehmen und For-
schungseinrichtungen des Medizinsektors in
der Europaregion Tirol – Südtirol – Trentino
ist daher nicht nur Symbolik, sondern eine Not-
wendigkeit. Der vorliegende Branchenüberblick
„Medizintechnik & Health Care“ präsentiert die
Unternehmen der Branche in der Europaregion.
Darüber hinaus ist das Branchenverzeichnis
Basis für die angestrebte Vernetzung und damit
Grundlage für künftige Produktentwicklungen,
Kooperationen, grenzübergreifende Start-ups
und Spin-offs im Medizinsektor.
Now, thanks to the Interreg project “Intertech”,
ties have been forged between Tyrol, South
Tyrol and Trentino in the medical sector too.
This forging of ties is vital since it offers support
for the entrepreneurial and institutional innova-
tive efforts within those regions concerned. It
promotes international networking, enhances
business relationships and cooperation and
balances out deficits in competencies. Of major
importance here is the use of key technologies.
The networking of companies and research
establishments within the medical sector in
the European region of Tyrol – South Tyrol –
Trentino is, therefore, not merely symbolic – it
is a necessity. This current branch catalogue
“Medical Technology & Health Care” presents
those companies from the sector located in the
Euregio. Furthermore, this sector directory offers
a basis for potential networking and, thus, a
foundation for future product developments,
collaborations, trans-border start-ups and spin-
offs within the medical sector.
