Metall Kofler GmbH

The company was founded in 1972 by Raimund Kofler in Fulpmes, with he focus on the production of tile tools. At that time the production of cutting tools was already started in parallel, which today represents the core business of the company. Michael Kofler, the current managing director, joined the company in 1986. Four years later, the Metall Kofler GmbH was founded in order to create an independent basis for expansion in the field of cutting tools.
In addition to manufacturing, the company started distributing cutting tools under the brand "ARNO KOFLER" in 1994. In 1998, another important milestone was set with the generous expansion of the production area and the administration building. Over time, the company increasingly specialized in the production, and, in the meantime, also in the development and distribution of cutting tools, which led to the sale of the "tile tools" sector in 2002. In the following 20 years, continuous investments were made in oder to be able to produce cutting tools at an ever-higher level. The core competence of the company is the production of complex special tools for a wide range of applications and industries. Due to the success, the production area was doubled in 2014 and additional offices were added. ln 2022, the administration building was modernized and thermally renovated, and a large-scale photovoltaic system was installed.
