Funding of R&D Projects in Health Hub Tirol

Health Hub Tirol is an initiative of the province of Tirol which has the aim of fostering innovation in the fields of life sciences, medical technology, e-health, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, and further strengthening Tirol's image as an internationally recognised healthcare region boasting successful companies.

Objectives of the funding programme
Within this funding programme, we are looking for individual projects in the field of research, development and innovation related to health. The activities should be in the field of basic research, industrial research or experimental development. The funding provides an incentive to implement projects in the region, including risky projects with a high level of development risk.

The funding is restricted to activities in R&D in Tirol. Costs for business development, marketing, general management etc. are not eligible.

Who will receive the funding?
Health Hub Tirol is geared at research-intensive founders and companies, start-ups and spin-offs from universities and colleges, as well as spin-outs from existing companies in the fields of life sciences, medical technology, e-health, biotechnology or pharmaceuticals.

The applicants' activities must have an applied and internationally competitive character.
